FMC Series
The Funetics Multi‑Challenge series gives young athletes the chance to experience a range of running, jumping and throwing events in a fun, supportive environment. The programme is designed to help children develop confidence and fundamental athletic skills, with events tailored to different school year groups.
Athletes in School Years 4 & 5 take part in:

a 75m sprint

a vortex howler throw
-
a standing long jump
-
a 600m run
Athletes in School Years 6 & 7 take part in:

a 100m sprint
-
a vortex howler throw
-
a running long jump
-
an 800m run
The series is open to all young people — you do not need to belong to an athletics club to take part. To be included in the overall Series standings, athletes must compete in at least three matches across the season.
The emphasis is on enjoyment, participation, and skill development, making the Funetics Multi‑Challenge an ideal introduction to athletics for children of all abilities.
